About the Symposium
The Public Symposium on Wintering Danaid Butterflies is organized by Danaid Butterfly Research Hong Kong, a project of the Global Change and Tropical Conservation Lab at HKU. Through hosting talks given by groups working on the monitoring, research, and/or conservation of wintering danaid butterflies in Hong Kong, the symposium aims to:

Hold conversations on the ecology and conservation of wintering danaid butterflies in Hong Kong,

Communicate the current knowledge on danaid butterflies, and

Facilitate public participation in danaid conservation and research
